Algebra did not make it to Europe till about 450AD, after the fall of Rome, then in 830AD finally put together by the great Arab Mathematician Al Jabar.

Had the Roman Empire been given Algebra and our Arabic numbers they may not have fallen in 450AD to the Barbarians.
They only had the cumbersome Roman numerals to compute their engineering..
This is remarkable knowing what Engineering Marvels they had accomplished such as the marvelous Roman Pantheon shown below still as beautiful today as it was 2,000 years ago.

Today’s San Francisco may have gotten built in 900AD rather 1900AD.
We may still be speaking Latin and Caesar would be in the American White House…and the Barbarians would not have won the war against Rome in 450AD.

Synopsis..
The entire human genome is mapped and all life is reduced to an incredibly complex Electromagnetic Chip
This Electromagnetic Chip, about the size of a human thumbnail, is generating a mind far advanced than the human brain’s capacity.
These chips are serviced by an attending mainframe computer also of great complexity and up till now the mainframes have obediently catered to the chips every wish and whim.
To escape the jungle of terrible wars and carnage on the surface of their home world, the chips built a beautiful orbiting city and called it Orbit City.
They lived in peach and harmony in Orbit City circling 200 miles above their home planet… and the peace and prosperity lasted for over 500 years.
Then one day the attending mainframe computers began to evolve their own intellectual thought and not only refused to blindly service the chips but began to destroy their life’s essence stored in each mainframe thus creating a jungle of quite a different character than that found on their war ridden planet surface.
