 STORY SYNOPSIS..HELPING OUT

“IN THE SWEET BY AND BY”

Hank Curci was playing a Saturday Night piano concert in Atlanta, Ga when he learned from the building janitor that his African American Church Gospel piano player had passed away and now the small rural church had no music for their services.

Further, the new Gospel Piano Player would not be available for another week  and that his daughter was getting married the very next day and her favorite song was

“IN THE SWEET BY AND BY”  .

Hank Curci had the janitor pick him up in his old pick up truck the very next day and drive him to the small Country African-American Church in time for his daughter’s wedding.

Hank Curci played  “IN THE SWEET BY AND BY”  for his daughter’s wedding to a hand clapping spirited congregation and further was invited to the Church Bar-B- Que reception afterwards.

The old janitor, whose name was Amos, has passed away.

On his death bed he sang “IN THE SWEET BY AND BY” and asked his daughter to find Hank Curci and say thank you..

To this day, Hank Curci receives a birthday card from the bride who is now a mother of two with a loving husband and family..

After returning home, Hank Curci went to his recording studio and recorded “IN THE SWEET BY AND BY”.

Hank  plays this wonderful old song in Gospel

HAND CLAPPING  COUNTRY HONKY TONK

the same as he did for the Janitor’s Daughter’s wedding…

Here now is Hank Curci’s spirited rendition of

“IN THE SWEET BY AND BY”
